Osamuraisan Streaming

I was listening to Osamuraisan stream and I originally wanted to comment the stuff below but I never finished it so here it is. Osamuraisan is a japanese acoustic guitarist which I really like. He's a really nice person and his playing style is quite melodic (I don't play guitar so I don't know the terms). He plays japanese songs, anison, vocaloid, pretty much anything that's being requested or he feels like. He also answers questions about himself and guitar playing (eg. fav food, guitar picks, live concerts, fingernails, guitar advice, guitar teaching etc.). Sometimes he sings happy birthday for someone in the comments :)

Honeyworks: Suki ni Naru Sono Shunkan wo

Yesterday I saw Suki ni Naru sono Shunkan wo: Kokuhaku Jikkou Iinkai, also called The Moment when you Fall in Love. It's the second movie of the Confession Executive Committee Love Series, based on songs from Honeyworks (which I love and follow). I have to say I love this movie a lot. It basically presents the moments shown in the PVs in a movie format and more moments. It also puts them in chronological order. Of course, there were some changes, but it was faithful to the songs, characters (to the clothing even), side characters and relationships. There are quite a few pairings in the entire series so it's chock full of romance. There is no particular "main pairing", but if I'd say that the first 3 ever shown are the main pairings. I also love that they added insert songs in appropriate places, they even managed to slip "Romeo" in there which was great, there was also a song that Mafumafu sang (which his voice suited perfectly).

When I have time, I would like to make a playlist of the songs/videos for each pairing (each of the character's relations, family, experiences, even the tiny cameos), so if you want to follow a particular pairing, just follow that playlist. All of the songs have connections with each other so I believe that each playlist would be kinda similar. The only problem I have is thinking whether I should include Ayase Koyuki the Natsuki x Yu playlist and Hina x Kotarou playlist. I might even make a relationship chart for the sake of it cos the ones currently online are way out of date, and none are in english. There have been a lot of developments. Maybe I should make 3 for the different times.

Nakimushi Kareshi

I also delved deeper into the old Honeyworks songs and found some interesting things. Nakimushi Kareshi (Crybaby Boyfriend?) has a character that looks exactly like Ayase. I also went further into the Haruki x Miou ship and read the lyrics for "Propose". All we need now is a wedding :P

Also watched the digital comic (on niconico. Nando datte, suki), about the new female character (one year below Hina) and LIPXLIP. Turns out that the new characters in the PVs are going to be developed. I feel like she's going with the blue-haired one (don't remember the name sorry), and LIPxLIP would have some interactions with Sena.

Yamamoto Koudai is also an interesting character. He hasn't been paired with anyone so far, but he likes photography and took the picture of the graduates for them. He's part of the "Idiot Trio" with Shibaken and Kotarou. Before searching up his name I just called him megane boy (lmao). The reason why I was curious was because in one very short scene in the movie, we (audience) saw his room with photos on a corkboard on top of his desk, and there was a photo of Kotarou and Natsuki. The strange thing was, Natsuki's face was flared out (light covered it, dunno how to describe, point is that it's not blatantly obvious) and in the middle of the frame, while Kotarou's face was clear but in the corner of the frame. It may just mean he was looking at Kotarou but that doesn't make much sense since Natsuki's flared out face was in the middle and that scene seemed a little long. My first thought: he also had a small crush on Natsuki (but maybe that's cos there was so much drama going on). Or another sense is that her face was flared out cos it wasn't important. No idea. I like the guy though, helping out Kotarou and chiding Shibaken.

My fav pairing in the entire thing is currently Shibaken x Arisa (not developed yet, but I like their chemistry already). Next is Mochita x Akari. Then Miou x Haruki (they had more development than all the other pairings).

I also realised I've watched way too much anime, to the point where I can read/listen and understand around 60% of what's written/said. Maybe I'll become a translator/subtitler for something.

Chocolate. Favourite sweet of all time [cite source]. I love chocolate, and would eat it all the time if I could. So what exactly draws people to chocolate, to the point of making them “addicted”? I’ve loved this sweet since I was 4 when I first tasted it, I’ve eaten so much to the point that I’ve been banned from it on more than one occasion? Extra paragraph

For Global Perspectives Research Essay. Topic: non-native species. I wrote an extra introductory paragraph, felt like it's a shame to just delete, so I dumped it here.

China is the 3rd largest country on earth covering 5 different climatic zones.

China is suffering from at least 283 invasive species, 50 of which are in the top 100 of the world’s worst invasive species (specified by the IUCN). The rate/speed of species invasion has risen exponentially due to rapid development of transport technology, spreading them to various regions in the country. Foreign invasive species may have also came from overseas from tourists and before the 2008 Olympics, as the government has imported various foreign plants. While these plants may not be harmful themselves, they may have carried unwanted pests. The following graph shows the number of invasive species discovered every 20 years with an average yearly growth rate of 11.47%. Majority of non-native species were introduced when they are productive and beneficial to the economy. However, the country sustains a loss of 120 billion yuan (US$29.3 billion) every year from damage caused by invasive species. It is believed that quarantine and inspection are inadequate, allowing the spreading of unwanted organisms/invasive species.

Kite Runner Sanaubar

I'm doing this empathic piece on Sanaubar, and no one else in my year has done her. So... to maybe help those who may have the same problem (probably not), here is the evidence I took from the books. Should be all of it, but yea. In any case, do your own work. I'm putting this here cos I did quite some work on mine.

[past] Hassan and his mother kneeling together, picking tomatoes or trimming a rosebush, talking. They were catching up on all the lost years, I suppose. As far as I [rahim khan] know, he never asked where she had been or why she had left and she never told. I guess some stories do not need telling.

[at that moment] Came out of hut holding him wrapped in wool blanket. Beaming under dull grey sky, tears streaming down her cheeks, needle-cold wind blowing her hair, and clutching that baby in her arms like she never wanted to let go. Not this time.

[things she will do] Sewed clothes, built him toys, cared for him when he had a fever.

[death] she lived to see him turn four, and then, one morning, she just did not wake up. She looked calm , at peace, like she did not mind dying now.
